Terms and Conditions – PawMac Tour and Safaris
1. Booking and Gorilla Permits
To confirm your safari, we require an immediate, non-refundable payment covering the full cost of Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking permits. These permits are secured directly through the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) in the client's name and are subject to strict non-refundable policies. Your booking is officially locked once permit payment is received.
2. Final Balance Payment
To offer our clients the best possible rates and avoid high banking fees, we provide two options for settling the remaining tour balance:
- Cash Option (Preferred): The balance can be paid in cash upon arrival in Uganda (USD, EUR, or GBP).
Note for USD: We only accept bills printed from 2013 to date. Bills must be in good condition, without tears or markings. - Online/Bank Payment: If you prefer to pay the balance before arrival via bank transfer or credit card, a 3.5% processing fee will be added to cover payment operator costs.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Permits: Payments for trekking permits are 100% non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Tour Balance: Since the balance is primarily settled upon arrival, any pre-paid balances cancelled more than 30 days before the start date will be refunded (minus bank fees and the 3.5% operator charge if applicable). Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
4. Itinerary Adjustments
PawMac Tour and Safaris reserves the right to modify routes or accommodations due to unforeseen circumstances like weather or road conditions. We ensure any changes will maintain the same quality and value.
5. Liability & Insurance
Safari travel involves natural environments. While we prioritize safety, PawMac Tour and Safaris is not liable for personal injury, delays, or lost property. Mandatory: All clients must have valid travel insurance covering emergency medical evacuation.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
